Our hemp shower curtains are completely plastic-free and non-toxic. Unlike bamboo or vinyl shower curtains, our organic hemp curtains are grown and processed organically. Bamboo is normally grown in China, is a great plant for timber and gardening applications, but has gone through many chemical processes to make the fiber soft. That's why bamboo fiber for clothing did not exist in the past. Bamboo and vinyl shower curtains of course contain many volatile chemicals that can enter your respiratory system in a warm humid environment like the steamy bathroom. You can use our all-natural fiber organic shower curtains with or without a liner. Be sure to keep the shower curtain dry between showers, stretched on the shower curtain rod and off the floor or sides of the bathtub.
